Come out to Elmwood Park on Saturday, June 16 for the biggest party of the year. The Big Lick Burger Fest & Summer Jam is Roanoke’s biggest single day of music all year. This year’s Burger Fest & Summer Jam will feature seven incredible acts all on one stage from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. culminating with Corey Smith live on stage. Admission is only $10 and all kids under the age of 12 will get in free! Bring the whole family out to Elmwood Park for a day of amazing music, the Kroger Burger Cook-Off and so much more!
The Bands
This year’s Big Lick Burger Fest & Summer Jam features seven acts playing all day long. Black Mountain Revival kicks off the festivities at 1 p.m. followed by A Place Called Home. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. catch The Bell Hornets and 7 Mile Ford. The final opening acts are The Low Low Chariot and finally, the Wilson Brother’s at 6 p.m. Corey Smith will start playing around 7:30 p.m. and will play until 9 p.m. You’re not going to want to miss any of these acts!
Corey Smith is a fan-made artist who has sold over 1 million concert tickets, 1.5 million digital singles and over 220,000 albums. Sing along with Corey’s most famous songs “Drinkin’ Again” and “If I Could Do It Again”. We recommend getting there early because Corey Smith has become one of the most popular artists in the entire country, so be sure to get a good spot!
The Festival
While there will be some amazing music going on all day long, the Big Lick Burger Fest & Summer Jam offers up fun for the whole family. From local breweries to kids races there is something for everyone. The festival culminates with the Kroger Burger Cook-Off, a chance to see who has the best burger in all of Virginia. All proceeds from the Big Lick Burger Fest & Summer Jam will go towards the Council of Community Services. The Council of Community Services works tirelessly to make Roanoke the place that it is today.
Head down to Elmwood Park on Saturday, June 16 and enjoy a day full of live music, great food, and family fun. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the party will keep going until 10 p.m. that night. Tickets are only $10 and you can purchase them online or at the door.
