Every Single Saturday
No matter which Saturday you have time, head to the Historic City Market. The event takes place every Saturday until Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. At the market, you will get to listen to live entertainment, have fun with your family, or learn at workshops or cooking demonstrations. There are also numerous vendors with produce and more.
Special August Events
The first three Saturdays in August feature Music on the Market. Greg Cruz performs on the 6th, Dancing Chicken Band plays on the 13th, and Steve Smith takes the stage the 20th. The 20th also features a Tai Chi demo from noon to 2 p.m. for some relaxation. The 27th lets you take home a craft thanks to the Market Paint Party from noon to 3 p.m.
Special September Events
If you are planning ahead for September, attend the cooking demonstration on the 3rd, a planting demo on the 17th, or the Harvest Festival on the 24th.
