Trick or Treat in Downtown Vinton

Vinton

Imagine taking your kids on a safe trick-or-treating experience where your kids get the best candy. That’s what you’ll get at Trick or Treat Downtown Vinton on Oct. 31 from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event is free to the public, and more than 40 businesses will participate. Your kids can grab some candy, show off their costumes, and have a great time. Plus, you’ll get to meet and greet the local business people.

If you are looking for a safe way for your kids to trick-or-treat, be sure to attend this event in downtown Vinton.

The Traffic-Free Zone

Trick-or-treating and traffic do not mix. Kids tend to wear dark costumes, and they have to cross the street from time to time. Traffic doesn’t always slow down for trick-or-treaters, so that can be a dangerous combination.

That’s what’s so great about this event. The city actually closes the streets that surround the downtown area, so you won’t have to worry about an accident occurring. You can breathe a sigh of relief when you take your kids to this event.

Candy You Can Trust

You don’t want your kids to get candy from just anyone. You want to make sure the candy they receive is safe, so you likely spend a lot of time examining it. When you go to this event, your kids will get candy from trusted businesses. That will make your job a lot easier. Instead of inspecting the candy, you can dig in and share it with your kids. Well, at least you can try. Kids are funny about sharing their Halloween candy.

This is a public relations event, and you can use it to learn more about the local businesses. Many will be handing out flyers during the trick-or-treating event. Don’t worry, though. The business owners and staff won’t bother the kiddos. But if you’re interested in learning more about the business, grab a flyer.
