About Breakfast with the Animals

Breakfast with the Animals is one of the coolest events around. It starts with a breakfast buffet with some of your favorite goodies. Get there at 8:30 a.m. to chow down on the food. Then, you’ll get to listen to a zookeeper chat, meet animals, and participate in a child-focused project with your kids. Each month has a different focus.

Check out the two remaining events.

Sept. 15 – Munch with Mammals

Ah, the mammals. The mammals at the zoo are an interesting bunch, and you can learn more about them on Sept. 15. You’ll learn about what they eat and other information. This will help you understand what it takes to care of these magnificent creatures.

The breakfast and chat will be followed up with a fun foam block print project. The kids will focus on their favorite mammal when they do the project. Then, each child will receive an activity sheet. The sheet will take the child and his or her family through the zoo. Once the sheet is complete, you can head home and talk about everything you guys learned.

Head out to the zoo to complete the activity sheet.
