2017 Jaguar F-TYPE RoanokeThe Jaguar lineup is getting some exciting new updates for the 2017 model year, including the addition of two new models. The existing Jaguars, such as the F-TYPE, will also see numerous enhancements, ensuring that these sporty luxury models are better than ever before.

New SVR

The biggest news for the 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE is the all-new SVR model. The F-TYPE SVR is designed to be a supercar that performs at the top of its class in all weather conditions. This is the very first model to have an SVR badge. It is the lightest, most powerful, and quickest F-TYPE ever to exist.

To achieve these bests, the F-TYPE SVR has functional enhancements to its aerodynamics, driveline, and chassis. The SVR is one of the very few models in the world that is a production car and can reach 200 miles per hour; just opt for the coupe. Whether you pick the coupe or convertible, expect it to take just 3.5 seconds to go from 0 up to 60 mph with the F-TYPE SVR.

Other Enhancements

If you opt for a 17MY F-TYPE convertible, you will notice that the trunk has been reconfigured for 2017. Now, you will have 7.3 cubic feet in the trunk, a figure that is actually usable in the rear world.

In addition to the new SVR performance trim, the Jaguar F-TYPE sees the addition of a new entry trim level. This results in five trim levels, three of which use the 340-horsepower 3-liter V6 and two of which use the 5-liter V8 for 550 or 575 horsepower. Prices range from $61,400* for the new base F-TYPE to $125,950* for the new F-TYPE SVR.
