The Taurus is the ideal way to get to your destination with the SYNC system keeping you connected along the way and features like torque vectoring control, curve control, and forward collision warning featuring brake support keeping you safe. Now you just have to figure out which Virginia breweries to visit.
Apocalypse Ale Works
Apocalypse Ale Works was the first brewery to open in Forest since the 1800s, when Thomas Jefferson was creating his own brews. You can visit the state-of-the-art brewery or indulge in the taproom. There is also a beer garden, bar area with big-screen TVs, and hours that are pet- and/or children-friendly.
Blue Mountain Barrel House
Drive your Ford Taurus to Arlington for a taste of what Blue Mountain Barrel House has to offer. This brewery and tasting room is open Wednesday to Sunday, and you can enjoy one beer or get a tasting flight. Visitors even get a complimentary tour with a purchase. The brewery has six-packs, cases, and single bottles to bring home with you.
Extra Billy’s Smokehouse and Brewery
Virginia residents who want to taste delicious local brews and have a meal at the same time should consider Extra Billy’s in Midlothian. You can enjoy the handcrafted beers that are made right onsite with some amazing barbecue, sliders, shrimp boats, or other dishes.
Midnight Brewery
Head to Rockville to visit Midnight Brewery in the Rockville Commerce Center. This brewery has a 10-barrel system for making its beers. You will find seasonal brews and options that are available all year round. The tasting room is open every day except Monday.
Parkway Brewing Company
Parkway Brewing Company is conveniently located in Salem, meaning you won’t have to take your Taurus very far. This microbrewery focuses on creating distinctive ales and has been in business since 2012. Use the Taurus’s great cargo area to bring home bottles or kegs of one of the brewery’s flagship beers. Visit the Tasting Room to enjoy live music and sample the drinks.
Pro Re Nata Farm Brewery
For a different experience, drive your Taurus to Pro Re Nata in Crozet. As a farm brewery, this option has a different atmosphere from the others. You will find everything from heavy to easy-drinking beverages, seasonal offers, barrel-aged beers, and more. There are 12 rotating taps, so it isn’t hard to find a new brew to try.
Although we can’t go to these Virginia breweries with you, the team at Berglund Ford in Salem can help you get your own Ford Taurus to take you there.
