The University of Lynchburg Community Health Center Halloween 5K is a great way to celebrate the spookiest month of the year while helping a good cause! The funds raised will be donated to the University of Lynchburg pro bono physical therapy clinic, which provides services to those in need who are uninsured or have used their physical therapy benefits for the year.
Running with the Ghosts and Goblins
Everyone is encouraged to dress in his or her favorite Halloween attire for this fun run. Whether that’s a scary costume or something on the milder side, this event is sure to be one you don’t want to miss. After registration, you will receive a special Halloween shirt, a goody bag, and a bib with your number. There will also be prizes for the first-place through third-place runners. Now in its fifth great year, this Halloween 5K is one that is eagerly anticipated by the city of Lynchburg.
Time, Location, and Registration
The University of Lynchburg Community Health Center Halloween 5K is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 9 a.m. to noon. The location is Shellenberger Field at the University of Lynchburg, 1501 Lakeside Drive, Lynchburg, VA 24501. The registration fee is $20 with a $2.50 sign up fee. Registration ends just prior to the start of the race. You will want to participate in this ghoulishly wholesome community gathering!
